Katy Bartelma joined the Legal Division as Deputy Director in July 2025.  Katy previously served as a Staff Attorney from 2021-2024, and she has also completed clerkships at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.  Beyond her service to the courts, Katy was a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice and an Instructor at New York University Abu Dhabi.  She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.
