May Litigants Select the Mediator Who Will Work on Their Case?
No. Mediators are assigned to a given case by Appellate Mediation Program staff. The staff does, however, welcome suggestions as to the type of mediator who would be most effective. Attorneys are encouraged to contact the Appellate Mediation Program to discuss any aspect of a prospective mediation, including mediator characteristics and expertise that might be beneficial in a particular matter.
