What is RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is an XML-based format for content distribution. Our recordings feed acts as an announcement that new recordings are available, and contains summary information about each case. It includes case number, case name (the names of the parties), and a link to an MP3 version of the oral argument recording hosted on our site. The feed includes information for the ten (10) most recent recordings released.

RSS feeds look strange when viewed in a Web browser because they do not contain formatting, but the feeds can be used for multiple purposes and are displayed with appropriate formatting when used in association with RSS readers or other RSS-enabled software. RSS readers are useful because they pull content from a variety of sources into one location without having to visit each site individually.

How to use RSS

With an RSS Reader - To get the feed, click the XML link next to the feed name. This will display the RSS feed in your browser window. You'll then need to copy the URL from that page and paste it into your RSS reader.

With My Yahoo! - To integrate the feed with your My Yahoo! account, click the My Yahoo! link next to the feed name. This will add the feed to those displayed on your My Yahoo! page.
